Refund policy
1. Right to Withdraw / Returns for Consumers

If you are a consumer (i.e. purchasing as a private individual, not as a business), then under applicable EU consumer-protection rules you have the right to withdraw from the purchase contract, without giving any reason, within 14 calendar days from the date you receive the goods.

To exercise this right, you must inform us (the Seller) within the 14-day withdrawal period, for example by e-mail to contact@makaithelabel.shop, or using any other explicit statement (e.g. a web form).
2. How to Return / Time for Return Shipment

After you notify us of withdrawal, you have an additional 14 calendar days to return the goods to:

The goods must be returned in their original condition, unused (aside from what is necessary to verify the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods), and - ideally - in their original packaging.
3. Who Bears the Return Shipping Cost

Unless we explicitly state otherwise at the moment of purchase or in this policy, the cost of returning the items is borne by the Customer.

If we choose to cover return shipping costs (for example in the case of a mistake on our part - wrong item, damaged item in transit), we will inform you accordingly.
4. Refund of Payments

Once we receive the returned goods and verify they meet the return conditions, we will refund all payments received from you, including standard delivery charges (if applicable), using the same payment method you used for the purchase.

Refund must be processed without undue delay, and in any case no later than 14 calendar days from the date we receive the returned goods (or - if earlier - from the moment you provide proof of shipment of return).
5. Exceptions & Exclusions
Some types of items may be excluded from the right of withdrawal or refunds - for example:

Sealed goods which are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons, once unsealed after delivery.

Customized or personalized items (if you have ordered goods made-to-measure or customized), unless they are defective or not as described.
These exceptions (if applicable) will be clearly stated on the product page at the time of purchase.
6. Defective or Non-Conforming Goods / Warranty

In addition to the right of withdrawal, under EU regulations you have the right to a minimum 2-year legal guarantee: if the goods are faulty, defective, or do not match the description, you may request repair, replacement, price reduction or full refund.

7. Return / Refund Process — Steps for Customer

Send an email to contact@makaithelabel.shop within 14 days of receipt, with your request to withdraw / return.

Wait for our confirmation and address for return (if different from our standard address).

Ship the goods back within 14 days of your request.

Once we receive and verify the items, we will issue the refund (same payment method).

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be published on this page, and will apply only to orders placed after the date of publication (orders placed before will be covered by the policy in place at the time of purchase).
